Created on retrieved wood and features handmade paper beads.

I mended a very broken and chipped terra cotta saucer.  Here’s the result:

Shadow Dancers was originally presented at an Art of Dance Exhibit in 2007 (a celebration of dance in 2- and 3-dimensional art) at a photography studio in Lethbridge, Alberta.

In 2009, I pulled the piece apart to clean the glass. When doing so, the glass broke and it took until recently to update the piece.  I decided to sponge paint the frame.  I love the new coppery gold colours and the frame is much improved.
