I was asked, “If you were stuck in an elevator, who would you like to be stuck with?” <\/strong><\/p>\n

I answered, “Mike Holmes”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being stuck in an elevator with Mike Holmes would allow me to ask him questions about building issues and to be able to talk to him about green issues as they pertain to the construction industry. I have heard criticisms about his going overboard regarding safety issues. The criticisms bother me as I feel he builds not only for current buiilding plans, but also as a foundation for futher development.\u00a0 While an owner may not have changes planned;\u00a0new owners like to put their own\u00a0stamp on a\u00a0building. We are mortal and very mobile after all. \u00a0By using the opportunity to express respect for his work, I might even get a hug!<\/p>\n

I told one of my tweet friends (twiends), “I have a crush on Mike Holmes.”<\/p>\n
