\nPeter Pan is here!
\nHe is reborn in a middle-aged woman.
\nShe now buys inline skates.
\nTinker Bell breathes a spell
\nIn the updraft of her flowing hair,
\nRings a heady impulsive beat into her ear,
\nFlashes the jeweled sparkle
\nOf the Northern Star into her eyes,
\nFrappes visions of clowns and ballerinas
\nFree from her mind.
\nRe-sewn tuxedo and cosmetic masque
\nPaint colourful jester
\nDonning pointe shoes
\nThat blister her toes
\nAs she pushes aged body
\nInto a dancer\u2019s pose,
\nHer thoughts transcend physical being.
\nThink the rite words,
\nSoar to heavenly, pink-violet passions of sunset.
\nThink the light words,
\nPony-playfully frolic in fresh fields of daisies.
\nThink the sprite words,
\nFind the miracle of parting water.
\nFeel the transition stage of pregnant delivery.
\nThink the bright words,
\nRefin(e)d rip-cord trust in living.
\nThink the right words.
\nA roam of intoxicating scents assault her senses.
\nDawn cleanly showers its dew-laden grass,
\nAlberta yields earthy bursts of moist, tilled soil and
\nharvested crops,
\nB.C. pines eucalyptus evergreen,
\nMisty musk of Ontario Falls,
\nMorning rises her with donkey brays resounding
\nechoes
\nIn a Singing Valley of majestic Rockies
\nFracturing splitting notes of
\nthe mountain\u2019s rippling streams.
\nHotly springs her cerebral orgasm of new thought.
\nRelaxed by noonday warmth
\nOf sun\u2019s rays embrace,
\nShe experiences sweat-lodge cleansing.
\nWith the lightness of a realization,
\nShe floats into evening\u2019s veiled mystery
\nof a starless night,
\nFinds full-moon wonder in gentle rocking
\nMemory of her mother\u2019s cradling arms.
\nTranscend into this second stage of living.
\nIn the euphoric state of a remembered dream,
