Hallelujah

Listen to a Mom’s refrains
Her soft voice is soothing pains
Cradled babe in bosom tight
Celebrate the peaceful sight

Blazing light as each sword drops
Each corner lit, the wars will stop.
“Hallelujah”, end of war
Word to praise each laying sword
She lifts Him up—sings this word
Bringing peace around the world
Repeat the word, solve our plight.
“Hallelujah,” Silent Night.

Baby coos are holy hymns
Sighs to raise the spirits dimmed.
Let your tongue join in the fight;
Let your voice ring bright tonight.
Sing with mothers from your heart
From the place where Peace will start.
Softly sing to make things right:
“Hallelujah”, Holy Night.
