Yesterday, I taught my visitor how to decorticate cardamom pods using a paper towel and meat mallet. I wanted to use the word, “decorticate” but the word escaped me, so today I am writing about the word so perhaps next time I want to use the word, I won’t stumble about trying to remember that perfect action word for the task at hand.
