Unable to reach below your knees but need to apply lotion? Here is my cousin Millie’s creative solution for a long-handled sponge:  two make-up sponges sewn together and slipped onto a plastic long handle allowing for thoughtful removal for cleaning.

To cool and sooth, use the long-handled sponge to apply foot cream recommended and provided by my daughter.

Apply after cleaning using shower foot scrubbies (thanks Martine).

Rest on medical-grade sheep skin to prevent further heel pressure damage and reduce pain.
