I was asked, “If you were stuck in an elevator, who would you like to be stuck with?”

I answered, “Mike Holmes”

Being stuck in an elevator with Mike Holmes would allow me to ask him questions about building issues and to be able to talk to him about green issues as they pertain to the construction industry. I have heard criticisms about his going overboard regarding safety issues. The criticisms bother me as I feel he builds not only for current buiilding plans, but also as a foundation for futher development.  While an owner may not have changes planned; new owners like to put their own stamp on a building. We are mortal and very mobile after all.  By using the opportunity to express respect for his work, I might even get a hug!

I told one of my tweet friends (twiends), “I have a crush on Mike Holmes.”
