Marlene’s ComeBack Seasoning
- 4 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1/4 tsp chia seeds
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
Add 1 tbsp of the seasoning to the following to make my ComeBack sauce which can be used in devilled eggs, mixed with tuna, a base for Thousand Island dressing, or used as a condiment served with cooked meat, fries, or use as a sandwich spread.
ComeBack Sauce
- 1/2 c mayo
- 1/2 c tomato sauce
- 1/8 c olive oil
- 1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
- 1/2 tbsp molasses
- 1/2 tbsp Worchestershire
- 1/2 tsp spicy mustard (see recipe)
- 1/8 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 tbsp ComeBack seasoning
Mix and refrigerate. Allow seasonings to mellow before use.
