Fashion

Fashion inspires me, yet I often also find it upsetting.  As a form for authentic and functional expression, it is useful. As a mask to pretend to be something that one is not, it can disturb. When fashion pushes social customs, it can intrigue and provoke insight. Fashion can speak volumes. Fashion communicates for you and can be misinterpreted, particularly when one’s fashion statement is a result of what one has access to, not what one might have selected.
