Stanford Lecture, The Power of Curiosity and Inspiration

Following is a very informative lecture at Stanford, “The Power of Curiosity and Inspiration”.  He discusses principles behind the positions that he takes, such as the principle of editing whereby a company worker should “Make every detail perfect and limit the number of details.”  He loves a cohesive end where everything wraps back around, such as when the pizza place originally created by his father contacts him via Twitter and lets him know that they employed his current project, Square.

The quote, “No matter what, expect the unexpected. And whenever possible BE the unexpected.” is a comment by Mr. Badass, Roberta’s father made to Roberta in the comically dark Lynda Barry novel, Cruddy and inspired Dorsey.
